New National Anthem: “My President Is Black”

with 3 comments

There is a new national slogan/anthem catching on among America’s youth. It’s a popular rap song, a t-shirt, and a taunting chant.

It is this: “MY PRESIDENT IS BLACK.” 1ablack

Google it. They’re blasting it on the streets of Chicago, saying it like a prayer in Durham, singing it on campus, and putting it on their kids’ clothes in Harlem.

Obama supporter and rapper Young Jeezy, who worked the phone banks for his candidate before Election Day, penned “My President Is Black” in time for the Democrat convention in August and invoked it after Obama’s victory.

Language Warning! NOT safe for work.

This item appeared in the news, an indicator that things are getting out of control more rapidly than anyone expected:

My senior at an upscale Cobb County Georgia (Newt’s old district) high school came home today in tears. Every black student at this school, where race isn’t usually an indicator of whether or not the teens are friends…they all get along and are for the most part, almost all college bound… was wearing their Obama t-shirts today. Many of them said, “My president is BLACK.” Many had Obama’s head printed on cardboard and waved them through the halls taunting the white kids with, “McCain sucks” and “F– McCain.”

Anyone who’d previously professed support for McCain is being taunted with “racist.”

My daughter asked the assistant principal what would happen if she came to school tomorrow with a t-shirt that said, “My president is white” on it. The answer was something like, “I’m with you, but there’s nothing we can do about it.”

Hat tip to Michelle Malkin, Rush Limbaugh, the AP and a dozen more.

Liberal Supermajority?

What, exactly, can we expect if the liberals gain both houses of Congress and the Presidency? It appears there are no “moderate” Democrats left.

Michael Moore: ‘Gustav Is Proof Of God’ Sent To Pay-Back Bush/McCain

with one comment

Radical-leftist filmmaker (and Obama confidante) Michael Moore has his own take about the divine aspects of Hurricane Gustav’s scheduled landfall just as Republicans open their convention in St. Paul. Says Moore: “Gustav is proof that there is a God in Heaven.” He made the comment on Keith Olbermann’s show Countdown on MSNBC. Of course, Moore was quick to add that he hopes nobody gets hurt and that people will take cover from the storm, which is set to hit the Gulf Coast on Monday.

The despicably dishonest Olbermann dragged in President Bush presenting a birthday cake to John McCain three years ago during Katrina, in his role as a journalist with integrity, to show that President Bush and Senator McCain partied while people died in New Orleans.  What both of these slugs didn’t mention that the cake was presented on a airport apron, between the President’s and McCain’s flights and meetings coordinating Katrina relief.

Listen as these two feed each other lines and cues, it’s a love-fest.

Key Obama Advisor Albright Slams Bush, U.S. & Rice In Germany

with one comment

Obama & Foreign Policy Advisor Madeleine Albright

BERLIN — Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright has blasted President Bush, the current U.S. administration’s handling of the Georgia crisis including Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, saying her first move would have been to travel to Russia to plead for cooperation and talks.

In an interview with the online service of German news weekly Der Spiegel Sunday, Albright said she would have criticized the Russian military surge into Georgia and recognition of two Georgian rebel enclaves but rather than just criticize them as President Bush and Secretary Rice have done, she would have reassured Moscow over its security fears, offered them aide and cooperation.

“I would have gone straight to Moscow, unlike the current Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, whose actions have been ineffective” she said, in remarks printed in German.

“I would have told the Russians in no uncertain terms that this behaviour is unacceptable. At the same time, I would have assured them that there is no threat at their borders.”

Madeleine Albright

Traditionally members of former administrations and the members of other political parties have always refrained from attacking a current Presidential Administration on foreign soil.

Albright, 71, is one of Barack Obama’s lead foreign policy consultants and surogates, and it is unknown at this time if Albright’s attack was a policy pronouncement of the Obama campaign, a planned political attack from one of Obama’s key foreign policy advisors, or not.

Albright recently declared:

“We need a president who is not wedded to 20th century thinking, who can forge a network of power and principle that will keep America strong and safe in the 21st century That person is Barack Obama.”

Obama’s Wrong Values

Senator Barack Obama seems to have different values than most Americans…

He has associated himself, and received the support of, individuals and organizations that are decidedly anti-American.

Maybe This Isn’t The Best Of Ideas……

From Washington Whispers:

“If a Los Angeles creative agency gets its way, Sen. Barack Obama will see fans meet him with his own salute like the one above. “Our goal is to see a crowd of 75,000 people at Obama’s nomination speech holding their hands above their heads, fingers laced together in support of a new direction for this country, a renewed hope, and acceptance of responsibility for our future,” says Rick Husong, owner of The Loyalty Inc. Husong tells me that he got the idea after seeing the famous Obama-Progress poster by artist Shepherd Fairey. “We wanted to get involved some way,” he says. So, the agency came up with their own a symbol of hope and progress that also plays off Obama’s name. “We thought, ‘Let’s try and start a movement where even while walking down the street, people would hold up the O and you would know that they were for Obama,’ “ says Husong. Much thought went into the relatively simple idea. “You interlace your hands in a circle, the interlacing being a symbol of different types of people coming together and the circle a symbol of unity,” he says. Their design, unlike Fairey’s, is free, and Husong is urging people to download it and print it on posters and T-shirts. “We want to see it everywhere, but more importantly we want this sign to take the world by storm.”

Hmmm…..where else have we seen “great leaders” having their own salute?
