Radical-Lib Radio Host Karel Calls For Joe Wurzelbacher’s Death – In On-Air Obscenity Laced Tirade

with one comment

H/T to Radio Equalizer’s Brian Maloney who picked up this on-air obscenity laced diatribe from San Francisco KGO radio host Karel, who called for the “death” of Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, AKA “Joe the Plumber.”

San Francisco KGO radio host Karel, has called for the “death” of Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, AKA “Joe the Plumber”in on-the-air tirade.

F__G__D__Joe the G__D__M__F__plumber! I want M__F Joe the plumber dead!”

Maloney notes some interesting background information on the San Francisco radio host: Karel, also known as Charles Karel Bouley, is an evening and weekend host at KGO radio in San Francisco.

Based in Los Angeles, Karel is a gay activist who also writes for the Huffington Post website.

This latest incident caps a weekend of unhinged behavior by Obama’s supporters, including a call for the death of Mormons campaigning on behalf of Proposition 8 in California and the push for an investigation into the “leak” that Obama’s aunt was an illegal alien facing deportation.

Don’t expect the mainstream media to tell Barack Obama to reign in his supporters, as they still are still looking for the imaginary McCain supporter who yelled out “terrorist” to Obama’s name at a McCain rally.

“Conned by Obama Mania” – How McCain Can Win

leave a comment »

Despite polls that show Barack Obama ahead, one McCain stratagist sees a scenerio that will give victory to John McCain. Lewis Oliver is the Chairman of McCain’s campaign in Central Florida. He says little things such as Palin on Saturday Night Live and gaffs by Joe Biden have given McCain momentum and undecideds will break towards the candidate who looks like he is going to win.

J-O-B-S or T-A-X-E-S: We Can’t Have Both

By Brian Sullivan

Higher taxes and job creation are the oil and water of economics.  They simply don’t go together.

It’s a basic concept.  The more a business gives to the government, the less free cash it has to use on new salaries.   It’s why John McCain wants to cut the corporate tax rate to 25% from 35%.   That extra 10% can go toward hiring a lot of workers and keeping jobs in the U.S.   Remember America has the 4th highest corporate tax rate in the world.   It’s no wonder jobs continue to move overseas.

This is not a partisan argument.   Many Democratic leaders feel the same way and understand the damage higher taxes will mean for job creation.  Consider this excerpt from today’s Wall Street Journal:

The Obama plan is an incentive to hire fewer workers.   Barack Obama declared last week that his economic plan begins with “one word that’s on everyone’s mind and it’s spelled J-O-B-S.”. This raises the stubborn question that Senator Obama has never satisfactorily answered: How do you create more jobs when you want to levy higher tax rates on the small business owners who are the nation’s primary employers?  Loyal Democrats have howled over the claim that small businesses will get soaked by the Obama tax plan, so we thought we would seek an authority they might trust on the issue: Democratic Senate Finance Chairman Max Baucus of Montana.

Here is what Mr. Baucus wrote in a joint press release with Iowa Republican Charles Grassley on August 20, 2001, when they supported the income tax rate cuts that Mr. Obama wants to repeal: “. . . when the new tax relief law is fully phased in, entrepreneurs and small businesses — owners of sole proprietorships, partnerships, S corporations, and farms — will  receive 80 percent of the tax relief associated with reducing the top income tax rates of 36 percent to 33 percent and 39.6 percent to 35 percent.”. Then they continued with a useful economics tutorial: “Experts agree that lower taxes increase a business’ cash flow, which helps with liquidity constraints during an economic slowdown and could increase the demand for investment and labor.”. Twelve Senate Democrats voted for those same tax cuts.  And just to be clear on one point: An increase in “the demand for investment and labor” translates into an increase in J-O-B-S.

So if lowering these tax rates creates jobs, then it stands to reason that raising these taxes will mean fewer jobs.  From 2003 to 2007 with the lower tax rates in place, the U.S. economy added eight million jobs, or about 125,000 per month.  The Small Business Administration says small business wrote the paychecks for up to 80% of new jobs in 2005, for example.  Mr. Obama’s tax increase would hit the bottom line of small businesses in three direct ways.

Since Senator Baucus is on the record agreeing lower taxes are good for jobs, why has he and the other Democratic leaders who voted for this suddenly clammed up?    They have either done the world’s greatest flip-flop on the impact of tax hikes on jobs, or have spoken up privately and been ignored by the Obama camp.

So that’s small business.   But what about the big boys?    If you believe the hype that big business doesn’t pay taxes, consider this: last year ExxonMobil paid more in taxes than the bottom 50% of the entire population of American taxpayers.   So if you are one that has come to believe you should hate “big oil,” consider what your tax burden would be if that $30+ billion (which is on its way to $40 billion for 2008) in tax revenue paid by Exxon suddenly dried up.

So since the Congressional record proves that many Democrats understand the relationship between jobs and taxes as well as any supply-side Republican, their silence surrounding the proposed tax increases speaks volumes about where their true interests lie.

Biden Urged McCain To Join Kerry Ticket – More Proof Obama, Biden & Kerry Lying About McCain

with 2 comments

When I originally saw this story on Digg, August 23rd, clicking the link took me to a fairly blank MSNBC page.  Only the headline below was showing, and the entire story was “missing”.  Here is what I saw:

McCain urged to join Kerry ticket
Biden says a joint ticket would help heal ‘vicious rift’ dividing U.S.
“The page you are seeking has expired and is no longer available at”

Using the links on the MSNBC site, I sent a trouble report about it, never expecting to hear back from anyone.  Amazingly enough, someone in Microsoft Technical Support emailed me back the following day!  “Rebecca” told me they would look into it.  After a couple of emails back and forth, for additional information and links, I clicked the link this morning and it was completely restored! So some of my faith in MSNBC has been restored. But of course it is not clear who, within hours of Obama naming Biden as his running-mate, removed the story and the included links to the Meet The Press transcript.  My guess would be some of those highly partisan NBC News people.

I know my friends at Liberal Values, The Moderate Voice and at The Atlantic will be so, so shocked to read that Biden and John Kerry have recently been making themselves into even bigger liars than usual lately. It has only been four years, mind you.  John McCain, in spite of what some will say, is exactly the same as in 2004.  So, question is, why have Joe Biden and John Kerry been lying to the American people?  And when, exactly, were they lying, now or then?

The story from 2004, clearly makes several points:

  • Biden thought McCain was one of the most bi-partisan leaders in America.
  • Kerry thought John McCain to be the perfect person to be Secretary of Defense to help him navigate an end to the war in Iraq.
  • Biden believed John McCain was the only man who could help heal the highly partisan rift in America.
  • The MSM, Reuters in this case, stated categorically McCain was a frequent critic of George W. Bush’s policies. From the Meet The Press transcript and news reports from 2004, Joe Biden, John Kerry and other Democrats thought so as well.

That being so, it is completely inaccurate, more likely it is a conspiracy of deceit, for Obama, Kerry and Biden to now be claiming McCain is like a third Bush term. It completely disqualifies all of them from elective office, IMO.

Anyway, read the full article below, and do click the link and read the transcript from Meet the Press. Let me know what you think….

Biden says a joint ticket would help heal ‘vicious rift’ dividing U.S.

Updated: 8:48 p.m. ET May 16, 2004 – Reuters

WASHINGTON – Sen. Joseph Biden, a senior Democrat, on Sunday urged Republican Sen. John McCain to run for vice president with the Democratic hopeful, Sen. John Kerry, in order to heal the “vicious rift” dividing America. McCain, of Arizona, “categorically” ruled out standing with Kerry, but Biden, the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said he had no second choice.

“I’m sticking with McCain,” Biden said.

“I think John McCain would be a great candidate for vice president,” Biden, from Delaware, said on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” where the two senators appeared together to take questions on Iraq and other subjects.

“Do I think it’s going to happen?  No,” he said. “But I think it is a reflection of the desire of this country and the desire of people in both parties to want to see this God-awful, vicious rift that exists in the nation healed, and John and John could go a long way to heal in that rift.”

McCain, chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee and in line to take over the Senate Armed Services panel in two years, endorsed Biden’s call for bridging the political gap between Democrats and Republicans.

“There’s too much partisanship in America, and there’s too much partisanship in the Senate,” he said. “And we’re not doing our job as our constituents expect us to do.”

“I will always take anyone’s phone calls,” McCain said of any call he might get from Kerry, a fellow decorated Vietnam War veteran. “But I will not, I categorically will not do it.”

[Sen. John] Kerry said Wednesday that McCain, a frequent critic of President Bush, would be his first choice to replace Donald Rumsfeld, the secretary of defense now wrestling with the Iraqi prisoner abuse scandal.

“I have any number of people that I would make secretary of Defense, beginning with our good friend John McCain,” Kerry said last week.

But on “Meet the Press” Sunday, McCain also indicated he was not interested in becoming secretary of defense in the event of a Kerry victory in November.

Obama: The Manchurian Candidate?

From Larry Johnson @ No Quarter:

August 9, 2008

“Just today, courtesy of the Rocky Mountain News, we confirmed that Barack aka Barry Soetoro Obama was a citizen of Kenya since 1963. Barack has yet to stipulate when he renounced or relinquished that citizenship. That will be a distracting issue in the upcoming campaign. Americans don’t want to elect a Kenyan as President. It is that simple.

But then there is the Indonesian problem and his Hawaiian birth certificate.
I confirmed today that several teams/individuals visited Jakarta during the last six months to gather up critical documents regarding Barack. It is amazing what money can buy. The information includes details of how Barack made his way to Pakistan. Oh! Did I mention there have been similar efforts underway in Pakistan. There are several lessons and warnings in the John Edwards affair for Obama. First and foremost, you cannot hide your past.”

FromThe Real Barack Obama:

“To that blank slate that was Obama in 2004 you can now add the Pandora’s box of Tony Rezko, Allison Davis, Alexi Giannoulias, Kwame Kilpatrick and a long list of members of the Illinois Combine; Nadhmi Auchi, Aiham Alsammarae, Rashid and Mona Khalidi, and Edward Said; Revs. Jeremiah Wright, James Meeks, and Otis Moss III and Father Michael Pfleger; Louis Farrakhan, the Nation of Islam and the 1995 Million Man March; Malik Zulu Shabazz and the New Black Panther Party; William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, Marilyn Katz, Carl Davidson, Mike Klonsky and others from the SDS days who are clinging to his coat tails; Jodi Evans; Hamas and other admirers like Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, Muammar al-Gaddafi, Kim Jong-Il, and the Communist Party USA; and the list goes on.
Let’s not forget the ever-growing list of controversies: Rezko house and lot; lobbyists, bundlers, and overseas contributions; Odinga family and violence in Kenya; Soetero family and Muslim schooling in Indonesia; Dunham family in Kansas and Hawaii; and the mysteries of his birth certificate—is he Barry Soetero? Barack Obama Jr. or someone else and was his name ever legally changed?—and rumors about his possible dual or mixed citizenship.
Oh, we cannot leave out his elitism and mention of “bitter” Americans and “typical white” people like his grandmother and the constant playing of the race card when his campaign or poll numbers were slipping downward, not to omit 18 million Democratic voters who will never forget how he treated Sen. Hillary Clinton throughout the campaign and how, with the help of the DNC elite and his brownshirted acolytes, he stole the Democratic primary.
Silly reporter. You just had to ask, didn’t you?”

From Goodtimepolitics, “Democrats candidate healthcare, Economic plan”:

August 10, 2008
“Barack Obama plan with a trillion dollar tax increase on America’s hard working families.
Senator Barack Obama’s bold plans to spend hundreds of billions on national health care, infrastructure, education, and energy? Put another way, how likely is it that the plans now being spelled out on the campaign trail will actually come to pass? In two words, not very.
So why make promises that you can not keep Obama?  People did you hear, Obama is just talking and there is no way that he can do any of the things he’s says.  Add on the inexperience and you have a useless candidate in Barack Obama.”

Barack Obama Stuns, Saddens Little Kids With Remarks

Obama Channels Jimmy “Malaise” Carter! *

When candidates answer questions from children about why they want the job, most will give an answer that uplifts the child and America. Think of Ronald Reagan leaving the kids feeling good about the country, and thrilled to have gotten to meet the President….

Not Barack Obama. He is, as he keeps telling us, a “different” kind of politician.  He sure is!   At a campaign stop in Elkhart, Indiana, a seven-year-old girl asked the Democrat why he wants to be President — and he told her that America has gone downhill, and certainly wasn’t what it once was.  Hasn’t anyone on his staff dared to tell The Chosen One that kid suicide has been on the up-swing?

One can imagine the conversation when the kid got home…..”What did you learn today in school, sweetheart?”  “I learned America was in the dumpster, Daddy. Why did you let that happen? Barack Obama told me so!”

People keep telling me Obama, “The One” reminds them of Jimmy Carter, with all his talk of malaise and best days behind us.  I now understand.  Watch this…..

Of course, this isn’t just some fluke.  Obama has been down the “America is on the decline” road before….this is the one where The Chosen One said America was full of people who held on to stereotypes to justify their own ignorance. Really uplifting, eh?  More proof he is indeed “The One” as he claims, brought here to cure us.

Now taken together, this oldie but goodie by Michelle Obama takes on new meaning, it shows she did indeed mean exactly, literally what she said, because it shows the two of them have exactly the same view of America…flawed with its best days behind it. Listen to it one more time.

Since I originally posted this, Hot Air has also posted as well on this topic.  There thoughts were better than mine, so let me quote them:

Everyone feels that we can improve ourselves, but we don’t usually cast it in terms of the country no longer being what it once was. Coming from the Obamas, that doesn’t even make sense. They have talked about how difficult it was to break through barriers, not without some justification, to reach this point in their lives and American history.

Doesn’t that speak to the point that we continue to grow and to learn? And if not, which “good old days” did Obama mean? The 1980s? I doubt it, and if he means the Clinton era, then why did he run against Hillary in the first place?

Once again, Obama got off the teleprompter and put his foot directly in his mouth. He’s not selling Hope, he’s selling Despair, and himself as the snake oil that will cure us of all our ills.

This following video clip is taken from Obama’s Dreams from My Father book signing, in New York on 11/23/2004. In it he appears to see America today as not a model for the world”….and of course is completely in line with the comments Obama made, shown above, within the last couple of days.  Just in case someone wants to spin this as a flub or misstatement, they will need to explain why what he says in 2008 is the same as in 2004.

“The Basic Outline of the government we possess and our civic religion as a people is such that potentially at least, we could create a society that is a model for the world, it isn’t right now.”

McCain Blasts Obama Support For Bush-Cheney Energy Bill

leave a comment »

Barack Obama’s latest negative attack ad shows his celebrity is matched only by his hypocrisy,” said Tucker Bounds, a McCain spokesman. “It was Senator Obama, not John McCain, who voted for the Bush-Cheney energy bill that was a sweetheart deal for oil companies.”

The bill provided $14.5 billion in “sweetheart” tax breaks for oil companies, and perhaps it is a coincidence that Big Oil donated over $397,000 through June to Barack Obama….
